Tell us little about your childhood and incidents that kept you awake?

I came from a Jewish, Zionist family in upstate New York. I had never known suffering or oppression or anything that kept me up at night until I went to Israel. Out of everything that I witnessed during the seven years I was in Israel, I think Israel’s ‘break their bones’ policy has caused me to lose the most sleep.
